Gas and Welding Hoses
Welding hoses are produced for oxygen and acetylene welding applications in industry, shipyards and construction; the oxygen line has a blue and the acetylene line a red flame-resistant cover, and both comply with EN 559 and carry the TSE mark. The group also includes a hose with a nitrile rubber tube and an orange pin-pricked cover used for LPG transfer and discharge. Both products are rated at 20 bar.

Each gas needs a hose suited to that gas: for LPG, use a hose expressly suitable for LPG service; in welding, hoses for oxygen, acetylene and other fuel gases are separate. A petrol or general fuel hose is not used for LPG, even briefly; the colour of a hose does not prove the gas type.
