Chemical Hoses
The category includes hoses with an EPDM cover for oil-free acids, bases and chemicals in industrial plants and acid storage facilities, and hoses with an XLPE tube and CR cover for solvents such as toluene and xylene. Both groups have delivery types and suction and delivery types with steel wire reinforcement between plies. All hoses are reinforced with cord fabric and conductive copper wire; the operating temperature ranges from -35 °C to +95 °C.

First identify the chemical's name, concentration, temperature and contact time; the hose is then selected from the manufacturer's compatibility table using this information. Seals and fittings must also suit the same chemical; an empty cell in the table does not mean "suitable".
