Besides light-duty, close-pitch intensive-use and textile-reinforced models, there is a type that has undergone chemical migration tests for food contact. Oil-resistant types are used for industrial oils and fuels down to -25 °C, and the hygienic type in marine and domestic installations where low odor permeability is required.
