Clamp is a product that is skipped or forgotten in many orders. In fact, when it comes to work, it is seen that the choice of clamp is at least as important as choosing a hose.

In order to really have an idea about this, first of all, it is necessary to know the clamp types and material types.

Let's start with clamp types and application areas first.

SCREW RELEASE CLAMPS

Screw version clamps are produced in 2 different types as perforated and embossed. Perforated types are more economical due to the convenience in the production process. However, since the cut parts are more open to corrosion in the holed types, embossed types are preferred especially in places where corrosion is desired to be avoided. These products, which are mostly used in non-pressurized or low-pressure circuits, are also used in many areas due to their high tightening intervals.

As for material types, W1 clamps, which are completely made of galvanized sheet, have 5 different material options up to W5, all made of 316 quality stainless steel, and 2 or 3 different widths depending on the type.

CIRCLE CLAMP (SUPRA CLAMP)

Circle clamps are used in much higher pressure circuits because they are produced using thicker materials and with their bolted clamping structure. The biggest disadvantage of these clamps, which are stainless and galvanized steel types, is that the clamping intervals are narrow. For this reason, when choosing this product, the outer diameter of the hose should be known exactly, and if there is a possibility of expanding the hose diameter of the object to which the hose will be attached, this should also be considered.

CASTING CLAMP (COMPRESSOR CLAMP)

Since the diameters of this product are made according to the outer diameters of the standard compressor hoses, it is also known as the compressor clamp in the market language. In the clamp product group, the dimensions are referred to as fingers or inches. Deviations between the two circles, caused by the support parts and minor diameter differences, are no longer a problem. It can be used safely in compressor circuits with very high pressure.

EAR CLAMPS

These clamps, which are available in single or double eared and standard or ferrule models, are frequently used in mass production lines due to their ease of assembly. These products, whose designs are as simple as they are functional, are generally made of 304 quality stainless steel and are quite economical compared to alternatives with similar materials. It is frequently used in the automotive industry. The biggest cons of this product are that it cannot be reused after being assembled and disassembled, and it cannot be supplied in low quantities as it is produced to order.

CC PIPE CLAMPS

Connection clamps, which are the only products in the clamp group that do not provide sealing, are used for connecting or fixing pipes, hoses and cables. These clamp models, produced from different materials, are especially suitable for automotive, air conditioning, generator, agricultural machinery, white goods, etc. They are also used in industries. In line with the customer's request, this type of clamps can also be produced without rubber cladding.

FREE SIZE CLAMPS

These products, which are "life savers" in many points, consist of strips and clips independent of diameter. The product named Strip clamp, which can be used directly, is the form of screw version clamps that you can determine the size of using only a screwdriver and pliers. You can use it instantly by cutting the strip in the length you want and attaching the clip. It is frequently used in places such as boats and yachts where new products cannot be reached at any time or in places far from the city.

Unlike the band clamp, another product that can be used in higher pressure areas with a special clamping apparatus is a product called Band-it or Band Buckle. The biggest disadvantages against compressive strength are that they are disposable and cannot be tightened without the apparatus.
